Welcome to our Mevagissey Christmas Tree Festival page.
 

Mevagissey Jubilee Hall  -  Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th December 2012

 

         

 

 

 

 

 Admission £1 and children free

Saturday 11am to 5pm  (5.30pm - 7.00pm trees and exhibition only to allow people going to the Choirs Concert to visit)

 Sunday 11am to 4pm

 
         
         

This will be Mevagissey’s first festival. Over 30 trees will be on display

Local groups and businesses decorate a Christmas tree in any way they like.

 

 

 

The trees can be real, artificial or homemade and the decoration usually reflects their business or organisation.

         

We hope that the festival will be a joyous

celebration of Christmas and

we have added a few extra Christmassy events!!

         
     
     
Christmas exhibition with nativity sets, unusual decorations;  Santas from all over the world, patchwork and embroidered decorations.

Craft demonstrations  cake icing ,how to make various decorations, floral decorations, present wrapping, homemade edible presents.

Children’s Christmas Craft Corner and Face painting

 Refreshments Tea. coffee, hot punch with mince pie and Cornish cream

   Christmas Stall for all your last minute presents and food

Raffle ,Bran tub and Secret Present Stalls

Carol Singing by local groups
